Membership Levels
Students or trainees who complete their terminal degree or postdoctoral fellowship become eligible to transition to Regular Membership.
Affiliate Membership
Individuals developing their professional identity, retired, or non-licensed professionals seeking connection, education, and growth within the neuropsychology community.
Regular Membership
Doctoral-level professionals engaged in research, teaching, or clinical practice in neuropsychology or related fields who wish to advance and contribute to the discipline.

Add or Renew Membership
HNS Memberships are for a calendar year. Membership dues for brand new members paid on or after July 1 will be applied to the upcoming year and will expire December 31 of the upcoming year. Membership dues for all members paid on or after the date of the annual Fall Social, typically held mid-September, will be applied to the upcoming year and will expire December 31 of the upcoming year. For all others, dues paid any time prior to the Fall Social will be retroactively applied to the current year and expire on December 31 of the current year. For example, for dues paid July 1, 2025 membership will expire December 31, 2025 unless the member is new. For dues paid on or after the 2025 Fall Social, membership will expire December 31, 2026.
How to Join HNS
There are two steps to becoming a member of HNS: pay the required dues and join the HNS listserv.
Payment of annual dues can be done online or in person at an HNS event. To join online, you must first create a profile. Click “Register” on the home page and follow the appropriate prompts.
If you’ve paid dues at an HNS event, you still must create an online account in order to access Members Only material or register for events. Please click “Register” on the homepage and follow the appropriate prompts. The website manager will confirm your dues payment with the Treasurer and update your membership status on the administrative side.
Listserv
Members can connect through our listserv and social media to stay up to date on upcoming events, networking opportunities, and new resources added throughout the year.
To join the HNS Listserv, please send a request to HNS at houstonneuropsych@gmail.com. In the email, please include your full name, affiliation, title, and email address. In the optional notes section for your Paypal payment, please put your full name.
