ABOUT
The Houston Neuropsychological Society (HNS) launched its inaugural Mentorship Program on September 1st, 2020. We are excited to offer the HNS Mentorship Program for the 2021-2022 program year! HNS is a professional association dedicated to providing neuropsychologists and related professionals with opportunities for continued education and collegiality, as well as providing a source for professional communication. HNS has been a staple in Houston’s neuropsychological community since 1992 and hopes to continue our mission of educating, connecting, and promoting our membership body by offering an annual mentorship program for students and trainees.
MISSION
The mission of the HNS Mentorship Program is to:
- Increase the awareness and accessibility of every facet of neuropsychology, including clinical practice, research, education, and training.
- Create a space for trainees (e.g., research assistants, undergraduates, graduate students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows) to seek guidance and support from senior colleagues and neuropsychologists, as they navigate different phases of their professional development.
