There are two steps to becoming a member of HNS: pay the required dues and join the HNS listserv.
Payment of annual dues can be done online or in person, at an HNS event. To join online, you must first create a profile. Click “Register” on the home page and follow the appropriate prompts.
If you’ve paid dues at an HNS event, you still must create an online account in order to access Members Only material or register for the annual symposium. Please click “Register” on the homepage and follow the appropriate prompts. The website manager will confirm your dues payment with the Treasurer and update your membership status on the administrative side.
To join the HNS Listserv, please send a request to HNS at email@example.com. In the email, please include your full name, affiliation, title, and email address.
**HNS Memberships are for a calendar year. Membership dues paid BEFORE the date of the annual Fall Social will be retroactively applied to the current year and expire on December 31 of the current year. Membership dues paid AFTER the date of the annual Fall Social will be applied to the upcoming year and will expire December 31 of the following year. The Fall Social is typically held mid-September each year. For example, for dues paid July 1, 2020 membership will expire December 31, 2020. For dues paid October 1, 2020, membership will expire December 31, 2021.
